Robert Rob “Bobby” Forest, 51, of Sumerco, WV, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 18, 2018, with his family and friends by his side after a 7 month battle with cancer.
He worked as an ATM Tech for Loomis. Rob loved music and was a very talented and gifted musician. He was a valuable member of the Praise Band at Highlawn Baptist Church in St. Albans.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Stella, children Laura (Josh) Caladros, William (Sunni) Karnes II, Tommy Forest, and Kari (Wes) Smith, brother Kevin (Alicia) Forest, grandchildren Adrianna, Aubree, and Harrison and many close friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, at the Highlawn Baptist Church, 2304 Jefferson Ave., St. Albans, with Pastor Jason Robbins officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.

My heartfelt condolence to the Family. I am so sorry for your loss. There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one in death. As you cherish the many memories of your dear loved one, Robert, please reflect on the time when sickness, death and mourning will be no more. (Revelations 21:3,4) This is what our loving God Jehovah has promised and Jesus himself guaranteed the hope of seeing our loved ones again by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19, Psalms 37:10,11) May God’s word bring you comfort during this difficult time and in the days ahead as we await the fulfillment of His promises.
