She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard “Dale” Neely.

Gifted. creative, energetic. These are the words Sharon and I can surely attribute to Carolyn – an amazing woman, children’s worker, guide and leader in the Lights of Bethlehem. Her gifts and abilities were employed in the service of Jesus Christ, in whose debt we shall ever be. Her works, and they were many, may or may not be remembered by us but they will one day be brought to light and rewarded by the Savior in whose name Carolyn’s works of faith and labors of love were done. God bless her memory. Prayers for the family in this time of loss.
My heart breaks over Carolyn passing but rejoices in knowing she is with her Lord and Savior. My mind is flooded with memories of her service at school and at Davis Creek Nazarene. I’m sure she and Dale are having a reunion with my Mom and Dad.
And her children grasped the hands of their own children and looked at the path before them. “Is the way long?” they asked. And their Shepherd answered, “Yes, and the way is hard, and you will be old before you reach the end of it….But the end will be better than the Beginning
Carolyn leaves a lasting legacy in the “Lights of Bethlehem” live Nativity at Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene each Christmas season. She and Dale’s service to the Church lives on here and in Heaven. They were a beacon of faithfulness. It was a blessing to have known both of them.
To The Families Of Carolyn Neely ,My Girls , Sally And Kathy and I always thought a lot of Carolyn, She was a Special Lady , So sorry For Your Loss !
It was my privilege to know and get to serve with Carolyn. She was a beautiful lady. How she loved Dale and her family! He was her constant supporter and helpmate for church projects. I learned much from her. I cherish our times together. I rejoice in her having run her race … she is now forever with the Savior she loved.
