Sharon Lynn Wilson

Sharon Lynn Wilson, 70, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 1, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Emmett “Poodle” Wilson and parents, Hershel Mooney and Ruth Griffith.

Sharon was a member of the Briar Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Wilson Jones and Melinda Holstein; sisters, Regina (Buddy) Sneed and Sandra Langford; 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Service will be held at noon Friday, July 6, 2018 at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Mike Graley officiating. Burial will follow at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest donations to assist in offsetting the funeral costs. Checks may be made payable to Curry Funeral Home, PO Box 9, Alum Creek, WV 25003

Good by Ms. Sharon it was a pleasure to have met you?you will be sorely missed by your twin babies who are lovely young women and their kids. Rest in peace and know you were and are loved! Say hello to poodle for us.

Time has gone by and sorry to say we have to say good buy. Sharon was a great friend sister in law and a great wife and mother. She loved going to church and raising her children. Sorry twins I wish I could say more but it is hard I loved her very much. She sure made my brother happy
