Timmie Irvin McClure, 70, of Danville, went home Saturday, June 16, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Division. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Virginia McClure.
He was a retired employee of Southern Public Gas and a very active member of Grandview Church of Christ. He loved deer hunting, fishing and especially hunting for molly moochers. He was a Vietnam War veteran.
Timmie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce; children, Richard McClure, Robin, Chris, Kenneth, and Paula Berry; grandchildren, Gregory Parkins, Matthew, Freddie Dale, Danielle & Caitlyn Berry and Carla; great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Kylie, & Daniel; great grandchild, Bristol; sister, Betty Kramlich; and brother, Junior (Diane) McClure.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Greenview Church of Christ in Greenview, WV. Burial will be at the McClure Family Cemetery, Alkol.
I’m really really sorry for your loss… it’s hard when u lose the ones u love…. but on another note I’m pretty for sure we are related… my mom’s dad was Harold Stephens he died at 52 of sirocoss of the liver.. he has a brother Harry who is still alive and a sister Harriet who is still alive… their dad’s mom’s maiden name was Tulley (Gladys Tulley) from Yawkey and somewhere in there Borice Stephens.. McClure comes in… I get confused, someone owned coal mines maybe? I know one time me my brother and sister and my mom and her 2 brothers all came to West Virginia for a big family reunion.
Gosh old man, Its almost been a year already… I think of you every morning when I wake up… I never knew how hard it would be without ya, Well its a living nightmare and trying to take care of mom too… I have no help from ( NO ONE ) and its hard without ya… I know you can hear this so I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO SO MUCH…. He will certainly be missed by all. He was a wonderful christian friend.Always had a great smile and hug for you no matter where you were at.

Jimmy was a sweet and wonderful person and always ready to give people a hug and a smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
