Maxine Marlene Davis, 63, of Hurricane, WV went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Helen Bays Lewis.
Maxine is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dale; daughter, Contessa Davis; grandchildren, whom she adored, Ariel (Christopher) Strong, Alena and Addyson Raines; great granddaughter, Anastasia Strong; brother, Duane Lewis; and sisters, Rebecca (Mike) Duffy and Sherri (Patrick) Lunsford.
A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Bays Family Cemetery, Big Creek, Hamlin.

Dale, Contessa, Ariel, Alena and Addyson – Your Ohio cousins, Thad and Beth Ann (Salmons) Gifford are very sad to hear of Maxine’s passing. We know you are terribly sad. But we know the Lord will comfort you, and that Maxine is alive an well, safe in the arms of Jesus.
Mom and I are so sorry to hear of your loss, but there is no doubt that Maxine is with the Lord and pain free.
