Carson W. Tully

Carson Wayne Tully, 76, of Sumerco, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 20, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Elizabeth Tully.

Carson was the owner & operator of Tully Drilling since 1971.  He was a member of Cobbs Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and he loved the Lord and playing his banjo.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Chris Tully; daughter, Lisa Tully; brother, William Ferrell Tully; sister, Clara Dawn; and step-children, Betty C. Hicks, Sharon Watts, Rebecca Scott and Mearl Junior Reynolds; 17 step-grandchilren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at Lively Cemetery in Sod with Pastor Clyde Gwin officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.curryfuneralhome.org.

I helped Carson drill water wells off on for years ill miss him

Carson has seemed so happy in the past year. He always had a big smile and had the love of God in his heart. Praying for you at this difficult time that God will give you comfort to face the days ahead.

To Lisa and Chris,
Sorry to hear of your dads passing. We always had a good time at Ball field and loved that van. Those were some good childhood memories. He didn’t look like I remember him but that was long ago. Prayers for Family. Pam Midkiff Dorsey

I am sorry to hear this loss but it is Heavens gain. I remember when he came to our home on Falls Creek to drill us a new well. He would get out that banjo and play up a storm. So enjoyed him.

Clara Dawn Kelli and Tully family so sorry for your loss. Carson and I went to school together for 12 yrs. I guess I’ve know him about all my life. Great person. Condolences to all the families.

Clara Dawn, so sorry to hear of Carson’s passing, I thought a lot of Carson, he drilled water wells for my brothers and my son worked with him for a while. luv and prayers to your family.

I AM SO SORRY ABOUT CARSON.
SEEMS LIKE HE WENT SO YOUNG.
AND HE STILL KEPT THE DRILLING MACHINE GOING.
