Carl McClure, 77, of Lansing, Michigan, formerly of Murray, Kentucky went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, December 25, 2017 with his family by his side.
He was a 1958 graduate of Duval High School. Carl was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Buchanan, TN and a retired operator for Dana Corp. in Lansing, MI.
Carl was predeceased by his wife, Wava McClure; parents, Frank Leslie and Zadie Breedlove McClure; brothers, Roger “Swammie”, Frank “Gus”, Victor, M. G. and Rex McClure; and sisters, Lois LaRue and Sarah Carthrae.
He is survived by his daughter Rhonda (Tom) Price, of Hastings, MI, grandson Adam (Chelsey) Jones, great-grandson Colt Jones, grandson Aaron Clark, great-grandson Tanner McClure-Clark, son Kevin McClure, of Charlotte, MI and granddaughter Ellen Salmons.
Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek. Burial will follow at Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey with military graveside rites conducted by the Alum Creek VFW Post 4768.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
