Martha Kirk, 66, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 15, 2017.
She served as Pastor of the Olcott Community Church for several years.
Martha was preceded in death by two husbands, Birt Hitchcock and Fenton Kirk.
She is survived by son, Michael Hitchcock; daughter, Misty Dawn; stepson, Billy Kirk; sisters, Alice (Dallas) Holstein, Wanda (Junior) Stewart, Regina Williams, Rose (Ronnie) Walls, Roxie (Gary) Eller and Becky (Larry) Thompson; brothers, Paul (Jennifer) Holstein, Joey (Becky) Holstein and Roger Holstein; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Gibson officiating. Entombment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum, South Charleston. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Sorry to hear of Martha’s passing. She and her family were faithful, in attendence, at our church, Touching Jesus Fellowhsip, for a few years, along with Her Mom, Ruth and grand Paw Rev .Tony Sharp. Sincere Condolence to all Martha’s family.
So sorry to see this obituary. Summers of my early teen years were spent with Martha and Birt. Birt was my Mother, Margie Blevins Parsons cousin. He was like an Uncle to me and Martha like an Aunt. I have the fondest memories of my summers with them. I hate that we lost touch through the years but I loved Martha dearly. RIP sweet lady! ??

We are so sorry about Martha. She was a kind, loving person who was always there for everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with her daughter Misty, and the family. Martha will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
