Helen Marie Goode, 92 of Tullahoma, TN formerly of St. Albans, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Goode; father, Lemie Hill; mother, Emily Strickler Hill; and brother, Rex Hill.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Goode (Julie) of Tullahoma, TN, Ronald Goode of St. Albans, and Allen Goode (Jo Ann) of Charleston; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchlidren.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, at Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in South Charleston with Minister Louis Watts officiating. Family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Curry Funeral Home Alum Creek.
The tragedy of death can be very hard. I hope you can find strength and courage in the following scripture Acts 17:31 “Because he has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness… and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead.”
Imagine that day when all our dear loved ones are brought back to life through a resurrection and reunited with us again. What a truly beautiful promise of comfort and hope and how we long for that special day so close at hand.
