Jackie Alan Miller, 48, of Sumerco went home to the Lord Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
He was a member of the Boilermakers Union and served in the U. S. Army 82nd Airborne during the Gulf War.
Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Tamara.
He is survived by his children, Christian, Grace, Colten and Christopher (Ty); parents, Jackie and Margo Miller; sisters, Laura (Eric) Akers and Teresa (Danny) Hughes; and many other family and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the New Covenant Baptist Church with Pastors David Hicks and Dwight McClure officiating. Burial will follow at the Miller Family Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Alum Creek VFW Post 4768. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made toward the funeral services.
