So very sad to hear of my grandfathers passing. I have a lot of love and respect for him. Wish I could have spent more time with him and the rest of my family. Wish I could have gotten a phone call.

So very, very saddened to hear of Uncle Howard’s passing. The world has lost a wonderful person, one of which there will never be another. The time I spent as a child with Uncle Howard and Aunt Lyndell, were some of my happiest. They were two of the most down-to-earth, kind hearted people I’ve ever known. I truly consider myself honored and blessed to have been their niece. I wish my son could have known them. I loved and admired them so. Uncle Howard will be missed, but please know that he will NEVER be forgotten.Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend a service, but please know that I am there in spirit. My love to you each.

I was heart broken to see this in the paper. I have such happy memories of Uncle Howard. My heart goes out to you all. I live in Charlotte and can’t make it in for the funeral. I love you all and prayer for you. Uncle Howard and Aunt Lyndell will be together again now; just as it should be.
