Audra K. Caruthers, 82, of Alum Creek went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior; son, Ronald Caruthers; sisters, Gearldine and Jenny; and brothers, Eugene and Pete.
Audra was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue (Mark) Holsinger, Mary Caruthers and Sharon (Wayne) Midkiff; sons, Paul Smith, David (Connie) Caruthers and Henry (Betty) Caruthers; sisters, Beulah Lewis, Ruth Ann Minner and Corrine Hall; brother, Andy Rowley; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Forks of Coal Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25387-2536.

Audra will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She always treated me like family & I love her very much. She made an impact on everyone & they were never the same. She loves her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. We lost a great lady from earth, but Heaven gained a beautiful angel.
