I am sorry for your loss–Roger, Rita, Keith and Lisa. Your mom was a great cook and I still have a quilt she gave me. We only corresponded at Christmas, but she tried to keep me up to date. I still remember playing in the cool basement with you all and Rita playing the organ. Joseph and Jamie (Arbaugh) Carder, Kingsport TN.
Rita,
We are so sorry for your loss. We know how close you were to your mother. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you and/or your family. May God give you a deep peace from within and hold you in the palm of His hand next to His Heart as you grieve. We think of you often and you will be in our prayers.
Faye was a wonderful woman and a devoted Christian. Faye along with Nadine Meeker was responsible for keeping the doors of Porter Fork Baptist Church open. She gave so much energy to making sure that the church was open to everyone. She took food to many people who were too sick to cook for themselves. She always had a smile on her face and said nothing about being tired or sick. The community has lost a valuable person and we will miss her.
