Uncle Bruce came to my and Donnie Smith’s wedding at Hawks Nest on June 13, 2015. June 13 was his and his deceased wife’s wedding anniversary. He signed our wedding guest book “Bruce and Susie Roberts” as she was still in his heart and with him in spirit always. When Donnie and I were taking care of the dressing on his back these past few weeks, one day he pulled out my thank you note to him and Susie that I had sent to him for his gift to us for our wedding. He saved it because it brought back memories (anything could do that!) of their marriage anniversary. He had tears in his eyes.

You will be greatly missed Uncle Bruce the many times that you and Mark would always find something to do and then change your mind about in a couple days will always make me Laugh. Mark said he was going to miss his little Buddy but we know that you are happy now because you are reunited with the Love of your life Aunt Susie . Mark and I will miss the phone calls and Mark will miss stopping to check on you almost every Saturday unless you needed him before then. R.I.P Thank you for always having the smile on your face when you came to our house , and asking about Smith #1 (Michelle) Smith #2 (Marsha) and Markie and when you called and ask if you could talk to Knot Head (Big Mark) We will truly miss those times.
