Glenda J. Roberts, 77, of Brounland Road, Alum Creek went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.
She was a kind, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Glenda was a lifelong member of Olcott Church of God. She loved to read her Bible and enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family.
Welcoming Glenda to Heaven are her parents, Robert and Ethel Dunlap; brothers, Rev. Dennis, Delbert and James Dunlap; sisters, Marcella Dunlap and Ruth Griffith; husband, Richard; and granddaughter, Keri L. Holstein.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Ricky Roberts, Jr., Debbie (Gary) Holstein, Randy Roberts, Mark (Ashley) Roberts; grandchildren, Erin (Michael) Graley, Teresa Whitlock, Josh Clendenin (Jessica Shamblen); great grandchildren, who were the twinkle in her eye, Anthony Whitlock, Aspyn Graley, Reyce Clendenin, and baby girl, Ryleigh arriving in March; and sister, Betty Webb.
Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Mike Graley and Jimmy Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
So sorry about your mom she was a good woman glad I got to see her while she was in the hospital.
We are so sorry about Glenda. She was a sweetheart,and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
