Truly a lot of Bro. Walter and his work or The Lord. When I was first saved in 1972, I sang and played the Bass Guitar with The Allen Brothers Qt. there in revival services, at Mud Suck… Bro. Walter was a wonderful man of God… Blessings and Condolence to all the family and friends.
Pastor Means holds a special place within our family. He will be missed. He was there when my mom Kathryn Horton was saved, He was there when my grandpa and grandma Ellis were laid to rest. So much of my family have been faithfully attending his services for years. He will be missed. We love you!
Our condolences to all of your family.

When Walt and Charlotte got married , they came to Alabama for their honeymoon. I really felt a special love for Charlotte when I saw the smile she put on my brother’s face. My heart goes out to Walter’s children and also to Charlotte’s children. I knew someday that our family circle of 10 children would be broken, but Walt was such a good man and a good brother that I never thought he would be the one to break our family circle. But God doesn’t make mistakes. RIP Walt and Charlotte…I love you both and will miss you dearly and hope to hope to walk with you on that Golden Street someday.
We send our Love and Heartfelt Prayers to ALL! We are so sorry for your loss.
Charlotte was a life long friend and Aunt to Clyde (Snooks) Snyder and he wishes to express how his heart is full of memories of her and all her children…Ann, Vicki, Penny, John and Louis from long ago days. He didn’t know Walter personaly, but wishes nothing but good thoughts for his family.
He wants all of Charlottes children to know that he is grieving with them and will for some time.
We are saddened and truly regret the passing of these two wonderful people, I cant even begin to express how truly sorry we are for them and there families, we did not know them personaly but our thoughts and prayers are with there families and friends.
Walter and Charlotte visited us at Jordan Light Baptist Church numerous times, and it was always a joy to see them and get to talk with them. They were wonderful people and will be sorely missed. I’m sure the family will see this message as confirmation of what they’ve known all along – Walter and Charlotte were a blessing to everyone they came in contact with.
The family of Beuna Belle Hudson Withrow are truly saddened at the loss of your beloved Walter and Charlotte. The family circle continues to grow smaller here on earth as it expands in heaven. God bless each of you as you contend with this great and tragic loss, each in their own way. May your precious memories sustain you in the difficult days ahead.
