Ann, Vickie, Penny, John & Lewis,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom and she will be greatly missed by all of us. I will never forget the times we had at your mom & dad’s house every time we would come up to visit. We had some great times between running from Cecil and Glady’s house up to your mom & dad’s house and playing outside and also when everyone would gather down at grandma Songers house and play horse shoes and play in the creek. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Tina & Scott Thomason
Sue,Bubbles and Charlottes children, we are so sorry about Charlotte. She was a wonderful woman. She will be missed by a lot of people. Fond memories of going to church with her & Garnet at the Olcott church years ago. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I was so saddened to hear about Charlotte’s passing. I knew Mrs. Songer-Means only a little because I am a teller where she banks. She was always so sweet and such a joy to wait on. I will miss seeing her at the bank so much. My deepest condolences to her family.
To John Ervin “Cornbread”:
I am very sorry to hear about your Mother. I have put you on the prayer list at church. If there is anything I can do please call me at 304-923-7565.
Sincerely,
Dan Hopkins
So very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Charlotte and Garnet built my home place (for Herb & Linda Paul on Coal Mountain) and I remember playing with you girls then. You all have been in my thoughts often over the years. Even to me as a kid, their love of God and family was so very apparent. During the days ahead, hold tight to those good memories…and be secure in the knowledge that you will see them again.
