I’m so sorry to hear of Aunt Effie’s passing, but I’m sure she has gone to be with the Lord. Some of my happiest childhood memories are visiting her with my grandmother, Irene Adams, Aunt Effie’s sister. It’s sure been many a long year since I’ve visit West Virginia, but I never think of home without fond thoughts of Aunt Effie, Uncle Hassel (and his old dog Cricket), Champ the horse, the beauty of the land, and all the baking I’d help Aunt Effie’s and my granny with. May God bless this branch of the family that I’ve lost touch with, and know I truly loved my Aunt Effie.

I too am so happy that Deborah and I got to visit with Aunt Effie. Now she really had some great tales to tell and we had a great visit. It is a sad time but she really lived her life to the fullest. I love you all. may you all have peace.

Effie was a true reflection of friendliness. Here smile and quick wit was so refreshing. In a world where so many people look to the negative, Effie looked to the positive. Her walk with Jesus was a joy to see. I will miss my friend till we meet again at the great reunion with our Lord Jesus. God bless this fine family, I love you!

I was so happy that we were able to come and visit with Aunt Effie last year and talk of old times. I have thought of her often ever since that visit. I am sorry that it was not more often. It was a wonderful day. What a great reunion it must be with all of them together at last. With love and condolences for your great loss. May the Lord comfort you with his loving Spirit and hold you gently in your hour of sorrow.

Im so sorry to hear of Ms. Effie passing. She was the sister of my grandmother Fairlena Griffith Ball. My granny was the best in this world. I miss her so much. I grew up hearing stories of Effie with big belly laughs all around. They both have the same beautiful bright blue eyes. I know you will miss her dearly.

Effie will be missed by so many, She never met a stranger, just a new friend. Everyone was treated like family at Effie’s. The Lord must have needed a special angel for an important job. We will keep your family in our prayers, May God bless and comfort you in your time of need.
