Mark Wayne Roberts, 44, of Charleston passed away Saturday, September 13, 2012 at CAMC Memorial Division after a short illness.
He worked at Thomas Memorial Hospital for 23 years in Housekeeping. He was also an avid deer hunter and loved his cars and music. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Roberts and sister Jeannie Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years Linda Roberts; daughter Nicole Roberts; mother, Susie Roberts; 4 siblings, Susan Winnings, Michael Roberts, Sandy Jones, and Wanda Johnson; 2 Special family members Alan (Diana) Chandler; good friend & co-worker, Ronnie Harvey; and several nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday September 18, 2012 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, with Pastor Burt Hall officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Family and friends will gather from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
I miss you Daddy, but I know you are in a place where there shall not be any more tears shed from your eyes, and no more pain for you to go through. Me and Mommy love you very much, and Ive been praying for mawmaw and your sisters, and brother. Im very sorry this had to happen like this everybody..

To the family of Mark Roberts, I had the privilege of working with Mark until my retirment at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was a wonderful young man, who loved his job and a caring person. He will be greatly miss. You have my prayers and sympathy.
