Alice Lucille Laster, 70 of Griffithsville, formerly of Highpoint, North Carolina went home to the Lord Thursday August 16, 2012 at home after a long illness.
She was former co-owner of Oak Island Landscaping.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Bill, sons Dale, Jeff and his wife Mary all of Lincoln County, grandson Jeremy, grand daughter Diana and great-grand-daughter Willow. Sister Lovone Gardner, brothers Henry Clay Maynor of Ashboro, North Carolina and Ronnie Maynor of Highpoint, North Carolina.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Sunday August 19, 2012 at Eden Baptist Church Griffithsville with Pastor K. D. Bragg officiating. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service at the church.

I am so sorry about Lucille. I will always remember her ready smile and her laugh. She always made me feel as if she were happy to see me. She was a wonderful lady that I am glad I had the privilege of knowing. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us.
