Rocky Baire, 67, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Lincoln Drive-Valley Center.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Haden & Mary Magdalene Baire, Mom, Greathel, and brother, Elvis Lee.

Rocky loved the Lord with all his heart and so looked forward to seeing Him face to face. Rocky was a member of Briar Creek Baptist Church, 

He is survived by his siblings, Junie (Buddy) Kirk, Bawfurd Baire, William (Donna) Baire, Joyce (Danny) Pauley, Hazel (Terry) Rabel, and Mary (Barney) Johnson.  He is also survived by many cousins that he loved dearly.

Service will be 1:00pm Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Sisk officiating. Burial will follow at the Brounland Cemetery, Alum Creek, WV. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
