Elizabeth “Betty” Rose Means

Elizabeth “Betty” Rose Means, 78 of Yawkey, WV passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was proceeded in death by her husband Robert (Bobby) Means; parents, Walter and Mabel Webb; grandson, Jacob Allen Neal Craddock; 9 brothers and 1 sister.

Betty was a former member of Joes Creek Baptist Church, a Christian for 50 years and a retired Kanawha County Custodian and Caregiver.  Betty was known for her love of God, her beloved husband, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved gardening and being outdoors. 

She is survived by her children, Mark Wilson and Misty (Jimmy) Hinton.  Betty leaves behind a legacy of love in her 6 Grandchildren, Tyler (Kaila) Wilson, Caitlan Wilson, Whitney Morrison, Caleb (Destiny) Craddock, Isaac (Julia) Craddock, and Noah (Maddie) Craddock.  As well as her Great- Grandchildren; Lily Wilson, Jayce Morrison, Paislee Wilson, Rockson Morrison, Madelyn Graley, Hadlee Wilson, Leila Craddock, Wylder Wilson, Oakley Craddock, Ruby Wilson and Bella Wilson . She also leaves behind numerous Nieces and Nephews, all whom she deeply loved. 

A private service for family will be held on February 19, 2026, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek, WV with Pastor Andy Gillenwater officiating.  Betty will be laid to rest at the Means/Webb cemetery in Yawkey West Virginia.
