Patricia Ann Sisson, 82 of South Charleston, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 21, 2026, at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.

Pat was a faithful member and pianist at Brier Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and loved spending time gardening, canning, and knitting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She also enjoyed time with Frank in the woods hunting and was a sharpshooter.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Franklin Earl Sisson; parents, Ernest and Ethel Goins Pauley; she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Charles Pauley, Janice Hughes, Nancy Foster, Sharon Pauley-Mann, Leon Pauley and Margo Ginn.

She is survived by her daughters, Tanya Sisson and Angela (Bud) Boardman; son, Franklin Earl Sisson, Jr. (Christie); grandchildren, Danielle Morris, Jacob Boardman, Michael Sisson, Ryland Sisson, and great grandson, Kingston Morris. Pat is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to her grandson, Ryland for his time spent, care, and comfort given to his grandmother.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 27, 2026, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Charles Sisk officiating. Burial will be in Pauley Cemetery, South Charleston. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
