Our father’s passing brings with it a deep mix of emotions—grief, reflection, and honesty.

To many who knew him, he was charming, helpful, and generous—the kind of man who could make people laugh, lend a hand, and appear to be the good guy. For those who experienced him that way, we sincerely respect your loss and understand your sadness.

But for his only wife Lucille’s four children—Angelia, Lesa, Scott, and Kevin—our experience was much different.

We mourn what was, and we mourn what never was. We hope he has found peace—and in his absence, we are each doing the work to find our own.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

With all sincerity,
Angelia Argatha, Lesa Rose, Winfield Scott, and Kevin Dean
