Frank Earl Sisson

Franklin Earl Sisson, 84 of South Charleston went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Hubbard Hospice West, South Charleston.

Frank was a faithful member of Brier Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years and was a deacon and Sunday School teacher for 44 years. He was a retired coal miner where he was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Southern Appalachian and Landmark Coal Companies.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Wilburn Earl Sisson and Mary Etta Means Sisson; brother, Wayne Sisson and sister, Betty Howerton.

Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia Pauley Sisson, daughters; Tanya Sisson and Angela (Bud) Boardman; son, Franklin Earl Sisson, Jr. (Christie). Frank is also survived by his sister, Connie Hunt; brother, Jerry Sisson; grandchildren, Danielle Morris, Jacob Boardman, Michael Sisson, and
Ryland Sisson; great grandson, Kingston Morris.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday December 21, 2024, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Charles Sisk officiating. Burial will be in Pauley Cemetery, South Charleston. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brier Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 459, Alum Creek, WV 25003.

My Uncle Frank was a God-fearing man who loved the Lord. He is singing with the angels and he has reunited with his family in Heaven. Everyone should aspire to be like him. Love you Uncle Frank
