**SERVICE UPDATED**
Archele Faye Griffith, 48, of Teays Valley, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at CAMC General Hospital.
She was a former member of PETA where she was instrumental in getting the elephants removed from the circus. She was also a former employee of Teamsters Union.
She is survived by her children, Hope Marie Griffith, Sequoia Rain Hundley (Stephany Adkins), Emily Regina Hundley, Bobbie Antionette Hundley, Jacob Hundley; father and stepmother, Bill (Susan) Griffith; mother, Carolyn Tomey; sisters, Michele Larnerd, Heather Clarkson; grandchildren, Gracelynn, Taylen, Sequoia, Daniel, Anabelle, Zara, and Sophia.
Service will be at 6:30pm, Monday, September 23, 2024, at Resurrection Church, 123 Summers Street Charleston, WV 25301.
Parking is free in the parking garage diagonal to the church. Across from the library.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset the funeral cost to Curry Funeral Home, PO Box 9, Alum Creek, WV 25003.

Everyone here at Maury Village will miss you. We all have our own memories of things you have done. Some say they miss seeing you out walking the dogs. Some say your smile brightened their day. I have many memories Think my favorite has to be the day you told me about the DMV. Hahaha the spaghetti colander on your head. You are going to be missed by many. Go rest in Heaven.
