Mary Lea Beckett, 74, of Alum Creek was called home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023.
She was a 1967 graduate of Duval High School and was a retired loan officer from Atlantic Greyhound Federal Credit Union. Mary loved spending time with her family, sewing, cooking, and serving the Lord.
She was preceded in death by parents, Freer and Emma Zetta Hughes and sisters, Vinnie Watkins and Brenda Taylor.
She is survived by children, Angela Treadway of Charleston, Jeff (Tammy) Treadway of Arkansas; grandchildren, Tabitha and Mila Guinn, Jay and William Treadway; sister, Edna Smith of Sod; nephews, Richard (Melinda) Taylor of Dunbar, Dewayne (Amanda) Taylor of Poca, Kevin (Gerry) Smith of Sod, and Max Taylor of Dunbar.
Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Sumerco with Pastor Jackie Miller officiating.
