The family of Dana Lee Craigo, 66, of Cross Lanes, WV, is saddened to announce her passing on Friday, July 28. Her loving husband, Doug, was with her when she made her flight to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who she loved dearly.

Dana was born in Atlanta, GA, on March 5, 1957. She met the love of her life there and they were married on March 24, 1977. Dana worked as an administrative assistant for Wendy’s International and for Burdette Realty during her lifetime, but above all, she loved being a mother.

Left behind to cherish sweet memories are her husband, Doug, and her pride and joy, daughters Amy White (Matt) and Christen Craigo, and granddaughter, Valerie White. Also left behind is her brother, Robbie (Marie) of Atlanta, GA, sister-in-law Patty Goodell (Bill) of Taylors, SC, and nephew Jeff Goodell (Adrianne) of Taylors, SC.

Services for Dana will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday August 1, 2023 at Cross Lanes Bible Church with Pastor Dave Buckley officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dana was always so soft spoken, one of the sweetest people I ever knew. I loved her and have many sweet memories of times together at Nanny and Granddaddy’s house. My thoughts and prayers are with Doug, Amy, Christen and Robbie.

So glad that Dana has been released from her suffering. We are sad for the earthly family she loved and left behind to grieve.
