Shirley Ann Waldron, 86, of South Charleston, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at home.

Shirley spent many years as a teacher’s aide before retiring from the Board of Education.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Virgil & Mary Lucy Miller; siblings, Junior, Gene, Johnny, Betty, Gail, & Ilene; and Daniel Teel, who was like a grandson.

I’m sure mom is happy to be reunited in Heaven with her parents, siblings, and that special someone she thought a lot of, Daniel.

Rest easy mom, your pain and suffering are over.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek. Graveside service will be 12:00 p.m., January 4, 2023, at Forks of Coal Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mark Thaxton officiating.

Many thanks to the Hospice ladies, Kayla, Jennifer, & Tara, who took special care of mom until her death. They were very kind.

It was always a pleasure to get to talk and visit with Shirley when we were in from Arkansas. Always smiling and giving the best hugs. She will be missed but she has joined so many friends and relatives in heaven. Much love from Kennith & Edith Yates.

Aunt Shirley had the sweetest soul. She was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone. I can remember her and uncle David watching me after school when I was little and always giving me butterscotch candies and playing games with me.
She loved her family more than anything and her sisters and brothers were all very close. I know that she was welcomed with open arms and reunited with her family.
You will be so missed aunt Shirley.
Love,
Chelsey & Kathy
