Cecil Allen Dean, Sr., of South Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at CAMC-Memorial Division. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Dean, and son, Billy Dean.
Cecil was retired from Kanawha Coal Company and was a member of the UMWA. He formerly attended Loudendale Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Chuck) Arthur, sons, Allen (Sarah) Dean, Tim (Theresa) Dean, Harvey (Angie) Dean, and Kevin (April) Dean. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and sister, Betty.
Service will be 1:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Romie Comer officiating. Family & friends will gather one hour prior to the service. Private entombment will be Monday, December 5, 2022, at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, WV.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I know how much he will be missed. My dad thought the world of him.
