Douglas Keith “Dougie” Means, II, 42 of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at home.

Dougie was a 1998 graduate of George Washington High School. He loved to hunt, especially coon hunting, and fish.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David & Patricia Roberts, Eldridge & Martha Means; also his mother-in-law, Joyce Goodall.

Dougie is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kimberly Means; son, Trippy Means; mother and stepfather, Patricia & Brian Gottberg; father, Douglas Means; brother, David Means; stepsister, Kira Austin; stepbrother, Keith Gottberg; father-in-law, Wayne Goodall. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and his canine buddy Outlaw.

Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastors Jason Newsome & Frank Goff officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends and family will gather 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
