Hansford Ivan McCallister

Hansford Ivan McCallister, 78, of Montgomery, WV, formerly of Nellis, WV, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Montgomery General Hospital Extended Care. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy, parents, Clay & Pearl Gillispie McCallister, and brothers, Leonard and Davy McCallister.

He was a retired Master VW Mechanic for Rollyson and Joe Holland, and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church at Ridgeview.

He is survived by his daughter, Janie (Steve) Belcher, son, Jason McCallister, sisters, Gardenia (Lyle) Snodgrass and Velda Wriston, and brothers, Cisco (Cathy) McCallister and Ray (Patty) McCallister. He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be 1:00pm Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Curry Funeral Home, with Pastor Randell Kinder officiating. Burial will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Costa/Brushton, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

I worked with Hansford at Joe Holland he taught me everything I know about cars really nice to work with he would help anyone that needed it prayers for the family

We worked with Hansford at Joe Holland Chevrolet. He was a special person that made the world a better place. It was a blessing to be employed with Hansford.
