Paul was a gracious man, devout Christian and raised his entire family in the way of our Lord. I enjoyed Paul for his athleticism but most of all his devotion to his family. He was a very sincere person who looked out for everyone he knew and loved. I always loved his kindness and the love he shared with all that knew him. Favorite memory is Paul singing to his grandchildren the old Christian songs that always sound better without music. I admire Paul for who he was and what he believed in and his family will be in my prayers.

I met Paul in 1999 when I started playing basketball with the Sr.’s at the Salvation Army.
Shorty after, Paul got us into the new and beautiful gym at Oakwood Baptist where we played until Covid in 2020.
We had a nice group of 20 or so and I can speak for all of us in offering our thanks and admiration for your toughness and leadership Paul.
We were all sad when you could no longer play.
I am so sorry to have missed the service Saturday.
I appreciate all of those golf balls you gave me.
RIP my friend.
Paul was a Good Friend for over 60 years also enjoyed playing Golf with him.
I worked with Paul at Union Carbide. I joined UCC in 1975 and was interested in joining a softball team. I was assigned the team Paul was on where he played center field. Paul threw the ball so hard into 2nd base, no one wanted to play 2nd. I was new to the team, wanted to play, I said I would play 2nd. For the entire season the palm knuckle on my catching hand stayed swollen from catching the balls from Paul. I played many seasons of softball with Paul and always admired / respected him for his abilities, his style of play and the person he was. When Paul was 50 years old, still playing softball, I told my wife I hope I can be like Paul when I’m 50. I admired and respected Paul, not only for his ability to play softball but also for the Christian person he was. I know Paul was a great husband and dad. God Bless your family.
The first thing that comes to mind, when I think of Paul Hudson, HE LOVES JESUS! Paul spread his love of Jesus through his vast knowledge of the Bible, teaching, serving as Deacon for decades, song and striving to live the life that Jesus Christ lived. Paul loved his wife and family. You could see his adoration for them all. Paul and Dorris raised there four beautiful daughters to love, serve and worship Jesus first and foremost. They both have been able to witness the fruits of their labor, not only through their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but throughout the community in which they all served Jesus faithfully. I cannot think of a better legacy for Paul! A faithful, loving, dedicated man of God. I love Paul and his family for the exemplary life they live. So many valuable lessons of loving and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, came from this beautiful family. Grace, love, service, loyalty, quick to forgive, and full of love for Jesus, these are the things I think of when I think of Paul and his family. My heart and prayers go out to Dorris and Paul’s entire family. He will be missed greatly. I look forward to the GREAT REUNION with all of you!
