Our hearts go out to Jackie’s family and friends, our family prays that God will send you comfort. My dad was Jackie’s boss and loved working with him. When we were young, my friends and I would hang around with Jackie. I remember when we all went to see an outdoor concert at what was Watt Powell Park. There was a young lady singing there that day that was only known locally at that time: her name was Kathy Mattea. It was a hot day, but the music was great and we all had a wonderful day!

Wow, hard to believe. I remember running into you at the Longhorn several years ago but never had the pleasure of hearing your band. I’m glad I got to see and talk to you again when you visited dad a few weeks ago. RIP cousin and god bless you.
