Marlin and his loving wife, Barbara opened up their home to his mother-in-law, for five years, when she was unable to care for herself.

Marlin was a mans man. He could do anything you needed. I have known him almost my whole life. He and my grandfather were friends forever. He was a kind and generous soul. Always willing to teach. I am so sorry for the families loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Marlin, you deserve it.

Tough, hard working, could fix and build anything, spoke what he thought and would back those thoughts. And full of kindness and giving.
It was a blessing… and an honor to be your friend for so many years.
Goodbye my friend. The king of Vandall Mountain.
