Kenneth Boyd Abbott, 32 of South Charleston passed away on Thursday December 23, 2021, at Valley Center after a long illness.

Kenny loved to go 4-wheelin’ and was known by his CB handle “Scooby Doo”.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Abbott; sister, Savannah Lovejoy; Grandparents, Kenneth and Mazie Abbott and Boyd and Sally Justice.

Kenny is survived by his mother and step-father, Diana and Roger McCallister, two brothers, Randy (Tiffany) Justice and Dakota Lovejoy; two half-sisters, Danielle Thompson and Chasity Wilson; niece, Kyler Justice; nephew, Easton Justice; two step-sisters, Mindy Treadway and Tabitha Smith; two step-brothers, Chris McCallister and Roger McCallister, Jr; Uncles, Curtis (Gail), Kevin (Deborah), and Greg Justice; and cousin Auston Hughes.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor Dan McCormick and Sister Rachel Anderson officiating.  Burial will be in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

So sorry to hear of Kenny’s passing he and my son were greatest of friends at Valley center for over a year he was a nice person my heart goes out to all.

I remember Kenneth as a small child who played with my son. He was such a sweet and loving boy. May he rest in peace. Paula Meikle and family
