Albert Lee Midkiff, 87, of Yawkey, WV, went home Friday, August 20, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV.
He retired with 40 years service from C & P Telephone, formerly Western Electric. He was a member of the Griffithsville Church of Christ.
Two of his favorite things to do were fishing and watching Nascar.
Albert was predeceased by his daughter, Jane Ann Curry and granddaughter, Michelle Midkiff.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ann; daughter Bronda (Rick) Adkins; son Mark (Gail) Midkiff; stepdaughter Danita Allen; sister Nadine Snodgrass; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Minister Kim Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at the Midkiff Family Cemetery in Alum Creek. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to express a special thank you to caregiver Teresa, and neighbors Kim, Jerry and Mark.
I worked with AL at Western Electric. He was an excellent driver. A good co-worker
I will miss watching all of our shows together judge Mathis , Judge Jerry ,Hot Bench,Kelly,Judge Judy, Wheel of Fortune , Jeopardy Most of all I will Miss you .

To Albert Lees Family, I worked with Albert Lee from 1952 to 1960 at Western Electric. we traveled WVa and other places and enjoyed a lot of good times. He was a great co-worker and Friend, May he rest in peace and the best to the Family.
