Good by my friend, already I miss you I miss the times we use to get in your old jeep and ride all day talking about the people we both use to know , we talked about the times we shared growing up in Julian and all the things we got into that we shouldn’t have but mostly I’m going to miss your phone calls when we would talk sometimes for hours . And yes we even talked about the time when we would come to this point in our lives. But I wasn’t ready for it to be this soon, but I wouldn’t trade our lives as friends for anything because it was a friendship that would last for over fifty five years. No man ever had a friend like the one I had and now I will live out my days never having that friend again. We were always there for each other especially when we both found ourselves alone after many years. I will never forget you my life will always be the better because of our friendship rest in peace Calvin Allen, you have earned it. ” MY FRIEND “
