Barbara Sue Kitchen

Barbara Sue Kitchen, 78, of Yawkey, WV, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House West in South Charleston.

She was a member of the Sumerco Church of God.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mason; son, Mason Lee (Mary Beth) Kitchen and Cynthia Fawn Parsons (Bill Massie); sisters, Jane McClean of South Fulton, TN, Peggy Huggins of Manford, TN, Patsy Hotten of Fargo, ND; brother, Barry Parks of Walnut, MS; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.


Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Richard McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville.


The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mason, Cindy and Lee
I am so sorry. I didn’t know that Barb had become so bad. I just found out today after the funeral. Please except my deepest sympathy. Barb was a ball of fun to be around. She could always make me laugh. Again I am so sorry.
