Ned Midkiff

Ned Midkiff, 86, of Tornado, WV, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.

He was a retired equipment operator from IUOE Local 132. Ned enjoyed farming and was a Christian.

Ned was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; granddaughter, Wanda Michelle Midkiff; parents, Foster and Thelma Smith Midkiff; sisters, Ruth Justice, Cornie Barker, Dollie Allen, Jean Midkiff and Jane Blankenship; and brother, John Midkiff.

He is survived by his son, Todd (Missy) Midkiff; daughter Gail (Mark) Midkiff; grandchildren, Alex, Greg and Hunter; sister Barbara Linville; and brother, Homer (Brenda) Midkiff.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. burial will follow at Smith Cemetery at Island Creek.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd., W., Charleston, WV 25387.
