Chee Chee was one of the sweetest and finest Christian ladies I have known. I loved to visit her and Harold to talk about family, the church, and life in general. She will be missed.

My love and prayers to all the family, I will always remember visiting her and Uncle Harold as a kid, always cherished those times listening to him play the fiddle and hearing her yodel, they were both Godly people and great examples.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Aunt Chee Chee ‘s family. We cherish our memories of our dear sweet Aunt Chee Chee. She has departed from this physical world and we are saddened by this, but we rejoice in knowing that this was never her home … she was only passing through ~ Thankful for God’s promise found in 1 John 2:25 … And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. ~ In Loving memory ~ Brenda and Ernie Burns

Over 50 years. Larry, my husband, and Craig, our oldest son and I were coming down Sumerco Mountain, a car came towards us, made a left turn towards a driveway. We hit the car, the man.ran..
Not a car in sight, we were in a Volkswagen Beetle. My head had busted the windshield. Larry had lots of cuts as did Craig, plus I was pregnant. Our of nowhere came Harold and Chee Chee Burns.. They lived directly over the hill and had heard the crash and screaming, I guess me. It awoke them. She had even brought towels knowing there had to be blood. Larry knew who they were, put us in back seat of their car and drove us to Thomas Hospital. We were released after many stitches the next morning. They were our angels in disguise and they didn’t have to do it. We tried later to pay them, wouldn’t take a penny. Thats the kind of people they were, and we’ve been forever grateful and I’ll never forget that crash and how they came to our rescue.
