Josephine “Jo” Elizabeth Shamblin Childress 95, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Childress. She was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church, South Charleston and the Eastern Star. She is survived by her special family, Clenton and Gail Curry; Grandchildren: Brian Curry (Joy) and Stacy Schoderbek; Great Grandchildren: Makayla, Riley and Charlie
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday February 13, 2011 at Curry Funeral Home 2097 Childress Road Alum Creek with Pastor Robert “Butch” Leadman officiating. Entombment will be 11:00 AM Monday at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
