GEORGE MICKEY DANGERFIELD, 72 OF SOUTH CHARLESTON, DIED FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 1993 AT CAMC MEMORIAL DIVISION AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.

HE WAS A RETIRED RAILROAD CONDUCTOR FOR C&O RAILROAD. HE WAS AN ARMY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR II AND A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN LEGION. HE WAS EMPLOYED AT SUPER X DRUG STORE IN ST ALBANS.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS SON, FLOYD OF SANFORD, NC; GRANDCHILDREN: VERA LYNN ZIKKOS OF SOUTH CHARLESTON; VICTOR BRIAN DANGERFIELD OF PARKERSBURG; GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER: ANDREA ZIKKOS OF SOUTH CHARLESTON.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 1993 AT 1:00 PM WITH REV F.A. GILES OFFICIATING.  BURIAL WILL BE IN BARKER CEMETERY, ASHFORD.  FRIENDS MAY CALL ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1993 FROM 6 TO 8 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
