ENMITY JOSEPH CARRIER, 72 OF ALUM CREEK, DIED MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 1995 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS A MEMBER OF ALUM CREEK INDEPENDENT MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH. HE WAS A MEMBER OF CARPENTER LOCAL 128 AND A USMC WWII VETERAN. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE VFW POST 4768 ALUM CREEK.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, ETHEL; 2 DAUGHTERS: LYNN COOK OF ALUM CREEK, WV; KARLA ARCY OF DUBLIN, OH; 2 SONS: JAMES CARRIER OF NITRO, WV; DEWAYNE CARRIER OF ALUM CREEK, WV; MOTHER: MRS. SARAH JANE CARRIER OF MADISON, WV; 3 SISTERS: OPAL FOSTER OF ADRIAN, MI; BARBARA HUNTER OF CHAPMANVILLE, WV; EVA MAE GUNNOE OF PHOENIX, AZ; 4 BROTHERS: LEONARD CARRIER OF DAYTONA BEACH, FL; LEWIS CARRIER OF ST. PETERSBURG, FL; LEO CARRIER OF ORLANDO, FL; GENE CARRIER OF INDIANAPOLIS, IN; 6 GRANDCHILDREN AND 3 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1995 AT 1:00 PM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN AND PASTOR BILL EGGERDAHL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN ORCHARD HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, YAWKEY. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 6:00 TO 8:30 PM ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1995 AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
