LEVI FRY, JR., 68 OF ALUM CREEK, DIED FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 1995 AT THE VA HOSPITAL IN HUNTINGTON AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS RETIRED FROM THE US ARMY AND A WWII VETERAN. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF GOD.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, FLORENE OF THE PHILLIPINES; 1 SON: SIDNEY GRANT OF PASCO, WA; 5 DAUGHTERS: NANCY BERTONI OF CHAMPAGNE AU MONT, FRANCE; CHARLOTTE STEELE OF EVERETT, WA; BARBARA YORK OF AMARILLO, TX; LYNN MAGNUSON OF HOMESTEAD, FL; AMY BAXTER OF GREENWOOD, FL; 2 BROTHERS: PHILLIP FRY OF BINGHAMTON, NY; JAMES FRY OF BINGHAMTON, NY; 1 SISTER: PEARL STRATTON OF HASTING, MI; SEVERAL GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
HE WAS CARED FOR BY SISTER-IN-LAW, MARTHA FRY AND NEPHEW, SIDNEY FRY;
SERVICES HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON MONDAY, JANUARY 16, 1995 AT 11:00 AM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL HELD IN PATE – PRIESTLEY CEMETERY, ALUM CREEK. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE FUNERAL HOME ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE.
