HE WAS A TRUCK DRIVER FOR ORDERS & HAYNES, A MEMBER OF THE TEAMSTERS LOCAL #175, AND WAS A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF KANAWHA COUNTY.
HE IS SURVIVED BY: HIS WIFE: SHERRY SMITH; 2 SONS: JAMES LEONARD SMITH, III OF ST. ALBANS, WV; KEITH JASON SMITH OF ST. ALBANS, WV; FATHER: JAMES LEONARD SMITH, SR. OF SO. CHARLESTON, WV; 3 BROTHERS: JEFF SMITH OF SO. CHARLESTON, WV; CHARLIE SMITH OF ST. ALBANS, WV; TOM SMITH OF SO. CHARLESTON, WV; 2 SISTERS: MRS. VENUS DEERING OF JACKSONVILLE, FL; MRS. APRIL SEABOLT OF CHARLESTON, WV; 3 GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 1996 AT 1:00 PM WITH REV. JUANITA EADS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN CHILDRESS CEMETERY, SO. CHARLESTON. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 7 TO 9 PM ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, 1996 AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
