SHE WAS A BAPTIST, A HOMEMAKER, FORMERLY EMPLOYED BY SOUTHWESTERN OF HAMLIN, AND SHE LIVED IN LINCOLN COUNTY FOR 59 YEARS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY: 9 DAUGHTERS: ELAINE AKERS OF SO. CHARLESTON, WV; MARY LEE SCOTT OF MARYLAND; EVELYN CHAPMAN OF HUNTINGTON, WV; HELEN HERNANDEZ OF HUNTINGTON, WV; JUDITH HAMILL OF TORNADO, WV; SUE MCCORMICK OF SALEM, VA; RENEE’ BAYNE OF ST. ALBANS, WV; JOAN HAYES OF SUMERCO, WV; VALENA TROWBRIDGE OF SUMERCO, WV; 3 SONS: WILLIAM “BILL” TURLEY OF SOD, WV; GLEN EDWARD TURLEY OF PARKERSBURG, WV; CHARLEY RUFUS TURLEY OF FALLS CHURCH, VA; 36 GRANDCHILDREN; 36 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; 6 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 1996 AT 1:00 PM WITH PASTOR DAVID COOPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL HELD IN FORKS OF COAL MEMORIAL PARK, ALUM CREEK. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, 1996 FROM 7 TO 9 PM.
