MARY F. MCDONOUGH MCCORMICK, 72, OF CHARLESTON DIED SATURDAY, JUNE 8, 1996 AT HOME OF NATURAL CAUSES. SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE CROSS LANES BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE SHE WAS A TEACHER OF THE RUTH CLASS. SHE WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE EASTERN STAR IN NITRO, CHAPTER 153, A MEMBER OF THE DUNBAR SENIOR BOWLING LEAGUE, TOWN AND COUNTRY VIP, AND WEDNESDAY SENIOR LEAGUE.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY: 2 SONS: S. VICK MCCORMICK OF CHARLESTON, WV; MARK MCCORMICK OF CROSS LANES, WV; 2 DAUGHTERS: PAT SHUMATE OF BECKLEY, WV; DORIS L. MCCORMICK OF BARBOURSVILLE, WV; 1 BROTHER: JOHN W. “BUCK” MCDONOUGH OF CHARLESTON, WV; 3 GRANDCHILDREN JOSH; WHITNEY; DANIEL.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE CROSS LANES BAPTIST CHURCH ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 1996 AT 11:00 AM WITH REV. DAVID SMITH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN LEGACY MEMORIAL PARK, CROSS LANES. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON TUESDAY, JUNE 11, 1996 FROM 6 TO 9 PM AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK.
