AZILE R. BADER, 92, OF GRIFFITHSVILLE DIED SATURDAY, MAY 18, 1996 AT A PERSONAL CARE HOME IN ST. ALBANS AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.
SHE WAS A RETIRED TEACHER WITH THE LINCOLN COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD WITH 38 YEARS SERVICE. SHE WAS A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF LINCOLN COUNTY AND A MEMBER OF THE OLD EDEN BAPTIST CHURCH AT GRIFFITHSVILLE. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY: 1 SISTER IN LAW: ANNA ROBERTS OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 6 NEPHEWS: JOHN MAX “TUBBY” CARPER II OF GRIFFITHSVILLE, WV; GARLAND ROBERTS OF CHARLESTON, WV; WILLIAM ED ROBERTS OF CHARLESTON, WV; DAVID ROBERTS OF DANDRIDGE, TN; RONALD RODGER ROBERTS OF NITRO, WV; JOHNNY ROBERTS OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 3 NEICES: LINDA MCCLURE OF CHAROLOTTE, NC; DAWN RHETA CANTLEY OF SO. SERVICES WILL BE AT 2:00 PM ON MONDAY MAY 20, 1996 AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL IN ALUM CREEK WITH REV. RALPH JAYNES AND PASTOR CARL LESTER BELL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN MILLER CEMETERY AT SWEETLAND. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 6 TO 8 PM ON SUNDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
