JUANITA VENUS HOLMES, 72, OF ALUM CREEK DIED SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 1997 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, SOUTH CHARLESTON, AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.
SHE WAS THE OWNER OF WHITTEN’S PLACE, ALUM CREEK FOR 41 YEARS AND A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF KANAWHA COUNTY.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: 3 SISTERS: VIRGINIA SCHIROS OF LIVONZA, MI; LUCILLE SMOOT OF CHARLESTON, WV; DREAMA BAUR OF NEWPORT BEACH, CA; FRIEND: ANNA CREIGHTON OF ALUM CREEK, WV.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 1997 AT 11:00 AM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN RYWANT FAMILY CEMETERY, CROSS LANES. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1997 FROM 6 TO 8 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
